Improvements to www.businessofgovernment.org will enhance users’ experience with content that can help public sector leaders and stakeholders.

Over the last 15 years, the IBM Center for The Business of Government has worked with more than 300 authors, from large and small academic institutions and non profit organizations across the globe, who have written reports with deep research and many recommendations about improving government effectiveness.  The Center is pleased to announce a new element of our website that links to this extensive network of experts more directly, by linking to a page for each author along with their publications and areas of expertise.  To locate an author and view the corresponding publications written, visit our Report section: http://www.businessofgovernment.org/reports.  From that page, one may either enter the last name of an author in the search box or press the link “Listing of Report Authors” to review this impressive gallery.  We hope that this will enhance web visitors’ experience with a broad range of content and expertise via our website, adding value from reports that are downloaded or viewed online by thousands of users each year.

In addition, we are pleased to announce a second enhancement with regard to easy access to past Center content, which enables users to read recent and back issues of our newsletters that feature key issues.  From the homepage, locate the Subscribe section on the right-hand side of the page  From this Subscribe area, one can sign up to receive our two newsletters, view a listing of newsletters sent in 2013, or follow the Center using a variety of social media tools such as Twitter and Facebook.  On the newsletter listing page, http://www.businessofgovernment.org/content/2013-center-newsletters, one can quickly scan the headings to determine the newsletter topic as well as the date issued.  Our newly released reports, magazines, and interviews with government executives are featured in the newsletters each month.  This newsletter is a great tool to stay informed of the latest and the greatest from the Center.

We hope that these website enhancements help you in accessing content that is helpful to understanding challenges, opportunities, and solutions for government leaders and stakeholders.
