Janis Gogan
Janis Gogan, Professor of Information & Process Management at Bentley University, holds Ed.M., M.B.A., and D.B.A. degrees from Harvard University; she teaches graduate courses on strategic IT management. Dr. Gogan conducts field-based research on IT and patient safety, informed collaboration in health care, and strategic management of IT-supported processes within and between organizations. Her publications include teaching cases which have been taught in American, European, Australian and Asian schools, more than 70 papers in conference proceedings such as Academy of Management, AMCIS, ECIS, ICIS, HICSS and NACRA and more than 40 papers in journals such as Business Process Management Journal, CAIS, Electronic Markets, Government Information Quarterly, Information Systems Frontiers, International Journal of Electronic Commerce, Journal of Information Technology, JMIS, and The Information Society. Recent teaching cases co-authored by Janis Gogan are available through Harvard Business School Publishing. She serves as a Senior Editor at Journal of Information Technology and is President-Elect for the North American Case Research Association. At Bentley University she received the Excellence in Scholarship Award for her qualitative field studies and teaching cases.
