Frank T. Anbari (Ph.D., Project Management and Quality Enhancement; MBA; MS Engineering; PMP; PE; and ASQ Certified Six Sigma Black Belt) is a Clinical Professor in the Project Management Program, Multidisciplinary and Emerging Programs, School of Technology and Professional Studies at the Goodwin College of Professional Studies of Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He previously served as a faculty member and director of the Project Management Program at The George Washington University, Washington, D.C., and taught at Penn State University, the University of Texas at Dallas, and Drexel University. Dr. Anbari gained extensive experience serving in leadership positions at the National Railroad Passenger Corporation (Amtrak), Day and Zimmermann, and the American Water Works Service Company. He presents widely; conducts rigorous, useful research; and publishes extensively on significant, relevant topics in project management and quality enhancement. Results of his research have appeared in over 120 papers, book chapters, books, case studies, and conference proceedings. Dr. Anbari is co-recipient of competitive research grants from the Project Management Institute (PMI®) and the IBM Center for The Business of Government, and co-recipient with Dr. Kwak of the Outstanding Research Contribution 2008 from the International Project Management Association. He serves as a member of the editorial boards of the Project Management Journal (PMI/Wiley), the International Journal of Project Management (Elsevier), and the International Journal of Managing Projects in Business (Emerald). He served as vice president, education and certification for PMI® College of Performance Management, and as an examiner (1993–1995) and alumni examiner (1999–2000) for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award.
