Gurdeep Gill (she/her) is a 2nd generation Punjabi America and a dedicated community advocate. She aims to increase access and opportunity for low-income Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) so that they can thrive in the ways they want. Currently, she is a Ruth Woo Fellow at King County where she has helped with COVID-19 response, supported the development of the County’s Strategic Climate Action Plan, and is currently supporting the development of a communications strategy and organizational transformation with the King County Council’s Office of Equity and Social Justice. She graduated from the University of Washington with a B.A in Philosophy in 2018.
