Mr. Morales has experience in providing consulting services to both the private and public sector. Prior to joining IBM, he was a Partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting and prior to PwC, he was with Coopers & Lybrand LLP. Mr. Morales also worked as Manager of Operations for a major international pharmaceutical company. At IBM, he has managed several large-scale reengineering and change implementation efforts, including the corporate-wide reengineering of Banc-One and the reengineering effort for W.R. Grace, both in the United States and in Latin America.
In the public sector, Mr. Morales led the multi-site reengineering effort for the Naval Aviation Systems Command and more recently, led several consulting engagements at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. Mr. Morales' primary areas of expertise include operational business management, change management, and strategy development. His functional areas of expertise include financial management, sales and marketing and manufacturing. He has written articles on benchmarking the manufacturing process and Process Driven Change. He has been the keynote speaker at several conferences on strategy and reengineering; most recently at the American Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Morales is editor of the book, Managing for Results: 2005, published in 2005 by Rowman & Littlefield, which provides recent research and insights on the use of performance measures to achieve local government and national goals. He holds a BS degree from Princeton University in Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering, and an MSM from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Sloan School of Business. Mr. Morales was formerly President of the Board for the Rock Spring Cooperative Pre-school. He is married with two children
