GARY C. BRYNER, was named director of the Natural Resources Law Center in August 1999. He has bachelor's and master's degrees in Economics from the University of Utah, a PhD from Cornell University in Government, and a J.D. from Brigham Young University. He has been a guest fellow at the Brookings Institution, The National Academy of Public Administration, and the Natural Resources Law Center. He is a member of the steering committee of the National Clean Air Network. Before coming to the Center, he directed the Public Policy program at Brigham Young University. His research interests include international environmental law and policy, air pollution law, and public lands and wilderness policy and law.
