Multi-Domain Command and Control: A Video Overview of the Approach
We recently released the report, "Delivering on the Vision of Multi-Domain Command and Control" by author Dr. David Bray of The Stimson Center. Multi-Domain Command and Control (MDC2) is the strategy for integrating and coordinating command and control operations simultaneously across air, land, sea, space, cyber, and electromagnetic domains. Dr. Bray expertly gathered the thoughts and insights of a diverse range of leaders from defence, industry, and academia on how well that strategy is being implemented.
In this video, Dr. Bray and Daniel Munro, Defence Global Markets, IBM Australia, discuss the concepts of MDC2 that are related to the concepts of Joint All-Domain Command and Command JADC2 and Unified Command and Control. The two describe what was meant by MDC2 during the conversations that informed the report - and how they approached such an endeavor with a spirit of collaboration, humility, and a desire to "always learn."
